It’s true that there is much good we could learn from looking outside our borders. There is an assumption (perhaps too often) that America is the best in the world at “x” (you name the category). There are definite benefits to being American, including our pioneer, make anything happen, approach to life. However, there is much to admire in what other cultures have to offer.
